The Property
The Silo on 74th is located on five acres minutes from the city limits of Olympia. The property features a beautiful colonial farmhouse with a wrap around porch, a covered pergola and our silo/grain bin bar straight off a farm in Ritzville, WA. The antique twelve arm crystal chandelier hanging from the center adds the perfect touch of glamour to the rustic grain bin.
Our Philosophy
We believe your wedding should be a reflection of your personal style and who you are as a couple. Your wedding should feel like it was designed just for you. Tables covered in elaborate florals and fine china or simple wildflowers? Chandeliers hanging from trees or candle lit lanterns lining the tables? Saying your vows in front of a pair of antique doors, an arch covered in flowers or an ornate antique fireplace? Small intimate ceremony for twenty or an all out dream day for two hundred and fifty. The property and our large selection of décor items lends itself beautifully to all styles. The Silo
After sitting empty for over fifty years this silo was dismantled and moved 300 miles from Ritzville to Olympia, WA. No, we had never taken a silo apart before but where there is a will there is a way. In April of 2017 after a lot of research, renting grain bin jacks (yes that is a thing) and loading the truck with tools we drove across the state, reduced a silo that measured 21 feet across and stood over 20 feet in the air to a stack of metal panels strapped to a trailer and headed back over the mountains because our son was getting married that August and I was on a mission to turn an old silo into a bar before the big day. All that was left was to pour concrete, drive six hours to buy our own grain bin jacks, put the puzzle laying in our yard back together and turn it into a bar before the wedding. One adventure led to another and we have had the pleasure of sharing our property and silo bar with happy couples and their guests every since.

We love pretty things and have poured our heart and soul into saving treasures from the past and giving them a new life. From farm tables to chandeliers dripping with crystals we have an amazing collection of romantic antiques and charming rustic pieces.
